What is Built2Box?

Built2Box is a series of science-backed strength & conditioning programs for boxers and combat enthusiasts and athletes. Consisting of three levels, Novice, Amateur and Professional with each one supported with its own comprehensive nutrition video modules.

Do I need to be in shape to start Buit2Box?

No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start the built2box Novice program as it has been designed for those with lower fitness levels and little to no boxing/combat experience.

Will I gain weight or increase in muscle size?

No, these programs are designed for boxers and combat athletes who need to be strong, fast, and explosive – without adding unnecessary muscle mass to optimize fight weight and energy levels and for combat enthusiasts who want long-term health, nutrition, and weight management.

Will I feel fatigued or sore?

No, there are no traditional high-volume bodybuilding weight training workout splits of chest day or leg day in this program. Instead, you will be performing full-body resistance workouts only two times a week using the 5 functional lifting movements of the squat, hinge, lunge, push and pull to ensure that you are training all the movement patterns so you develop equally in all areas needed for general strength while maximizing your athleticism.

Do I have to run?

Only in the professional program are you required to participate in high-intensity running if it is suitable to do so. Built2Box contains different circuits designed for training variation, enjoyment and safety. Circuit training can be an extremely effective way to target a range of physical characteristics within a short timeframe such as aerobic fitness, anaerobic capacity, strength/speed endurance and ability to maintain movement under fatigue.

Do these programs include professional coaching?

No but my programs extend beyond just a workout. As your strength and conditioning coach, I will personally guide you through each phase with video demonstrations for every exercise, ensuring correct performance and if you need assistance with exercise techniques or require modifications, you can send me a video or notify me via WhatsApp. Although changes can be made, excessive alterations may affect the overall structure of the program. I will respond to my messages within 24 hours, but usually the programs direct video links on each page to workouts, exercise and nutrition normally answer people’s questions.
